BREAKING: He’s RESIGNING Immediately – Voters Stunned…

The Uvalde School District police chief and newly elected city council member has said he is resigning after a public backlash against police actions during a school shooting that left 19 students and two teachers dead.

“After much consideration, I regret to inform those who voted for me that I have decided to step down as a member of the city council for District 3,” Pete Arredondo said in a written statement. “The mayor, the city council, and the city staff must continue to move forward without distractions. I feel this is the best decision for Uvalde.”

Arredondo has been on administrative leave since June 22 after revelations that police waited outside the classroom where a shooter went on a rampage for over an hour, rather than entering.

Furthermore, the door to the classroom was found to be unlocked, so they could easily have entered and stopped the shooter before the body count climbed so high.

Because of the shooting, Congress passed and President Joe Biden signed a new gun control law that really doesn’t stop shootings but made everyone momentarily feel better about guns.
