U.S. Marine Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Scheller pleaded guilty to a military judge on October 13.
The guilty admission came during a plea agreement that reduced Scheller’s maximum sentence down from jail time to a letter of reprimand. There still may be actions taken against Scheller’s rank and benefits.
According to Breitbart, “Scheller is charged with: Article 88 (Contempt toward officials), Article 89 (Disrespect toward superior commissioned officers), Article 90 (Willfully disobeying a superior commissioned officer), Article 92 (Dereliction in the performance of duties), Article 92 (Failure to obey order or regulation), and Article 133 (Conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman).”
The charges came after Scheller posted videos on social media blasting this country’s leaders and demanding that they take responsibility for their actions, particularly regarding Biden’s premature evacuation in Afghanistan.
Scheller posted the videos in response to the thirteen American servicemembers being killed in Afghanistan. Scheller claims to have known some of the deceased personally.
