BREAKING: She’s NOT Seeking Another Term – Voters Stunned…

Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam made the announcement on April 4 that she will NOT seek a second term in office.

The announcement comes after what many are calling a rocky five years in office for Carrie Lam.

Among the challenges she had to deal with were protests calling for her resignation, and a crackdown from mainland China that has limited Democracy in Hong Kong.

As with all world leaders, Carrie Lam also had to deal with COVID.

“I will complete my five-year term as chief executive on the 30th of June this year, and I will also call an end to my 42 years of public service.”

The 64-year-old didn’t blame her in-office challenges for her retirement, instead simply saying she wants to spend more time with her family.
