Conservative talk radio host Larry Elder has announced that his bid for Governor in California should be considered a one-and-done affair.
The 69-year-old said he won’t be challenging for the governorship again in 2022, but had a bit of interesting news that might even be too good to be considered a silver lining: he’s creating a pro-GOP Super PAC.
“I ran for Governor because I wanted to make a difference. While I may not know what the future holds for me politically, our campaign’s ability to attract millions of votes and millions of dollars in a very short time demonstrates we have a message that resonates with Americans, and I believe we can put that to good use.”
Elder was Californian’s number one pick to replace Newsom had Gavin been recalled.
Ultimately though, the attempt to remove Newsom after he was caught violating his own mask mandate fell short, with 61.9% of California voters deciding not to remove him from office.
Elder concluded his announcement by telling us that the number one threat to America’s future is the radical left: “The radical left’s woke agenda is destroying America. Our major cities look like war zones thanks to ‘progressive’ district attorneys and other pro-criminal policies.”
