BREAKING: He’s NOT Dead – Report Shocks Nation

Representative John Lewis (D-GA) had reportedly passed away, but it seems that “reports of his death were exaggerated.” According to Fox News, those reports are inaccurate and the congressman is alive and well.

Representative Lewis’s chief of staff Michael Collins said, “Rumors are not true. He is resting comfortably at home.”

The Georgia representative, 80, is being treated for stage 4 pancreatic cancer. His health has required him to cast votes in Congress by proxy.

Representative Lewis is a civil rights icon and was active throughout the ’60s in protests against segregation. Lewis was arrested in 1961 for using a “white restroom.”

To this day, the 80-year-old Representative has been very active in issues relating to civil rights. He was particularly outspoken about the protests around the death of George Floyd.

Agree with his politics or not, Lewis is a fighter. It is good to hear that he is still with us and comfortable in his fight against cancer.
