BREAKING: He’s Leaving The GOP – Former President Shocks America

The news just dropped — he is leaving the Republican Party. A former president has shocked millions of fo Americans across the country.

Appearing on NBC’s “Today,” host Hoda Kotb asked former President George W. Bush about the current state of the GOP. His response: “Isolationist, protectionist, and to a certain extent, nativist.”

Kotb also asked him if he was “disappointed” in the party’s current dynamic. “Well, that’s not exactly my vision, but you know what, I’m just an old guy they put out to pasture,” Bush said with a chuckle.

While he has a few redeeming qualities — such as the strong leadership he showed in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks — Bush seems to care more about pleasing the DC swamp these days.

Border security is not “isolationist,” “protectionist,” or “nativist.”  For example, most Americans support immigration — they just want it handled legally and orderly. Liberals want de facto open borders.

We are seeing the end result of the political establishment’s goal at the southern border right now: total chaos. Now, President Joe Biden and others (possibly even Bush) will push for amnesty.

  1. Bush does not belong in the GOP, he never has been a Republican!! He has really shown it, since he has been out of office. All he does is try to support the demorats.

    1. Who cares, he can’t compare to his Dad who was great. Go ahead Mr Bush👿😈 u won’t be missed and if u do u can know longer be referred to as a President.

      1. No LULU none of the Bushes are Great, from one of the very first Bushes that came from Germany they have been all about the NWO taking over America. do the research and you will see just how crooked they have been since before they came to America.

    2. So disappointing, really!!! We weren’t happy with him the second term, but he was better than present day Administration!!!! At least, he had some symbolism of “love for this country, our military and the people”. I don’t see that today!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Bush was a closet democrat. He didn’t do anything for the country just made himself richer. Good riddance.

  3. George Dubbya Bush covered for the neo cons responsible for 911. He was too stupid to be involved in the planning as his just was just to stonewall any investigation and lie to the American people that the govt had no idea that planes would be used as weapons even though there were 3 such exercises going on at the time. Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld should have been tried as traitors. Rumsfeld was missing in action the whole time the Neocon attack was taking place. Bush ranks up there with Carter as one of the most inefficient president ever. Good bye George you damn traitor!

  4. The entire Bush Family were corrupt and never considered the American people to be first. The Dead Skull Society that the Bushes belonged to was the new world order crap! That is what is currently being rammed down the American’s throat. The Bushes was part of the Swamp!

  5. He is a turn coat. And has never supported the previous president. I wonder how much he is getting from the left side and the democrats. I have lost all my faith in him.

  6. He’s a neocom. They believe in big government to fund a big military to bully the world. Neocoms left the Democrat party for the republican party years ago but were never a good fit even after taking over the party.

  7. Disappointed in Bush. His ideas are outdated and archaic in my opinion. Lets
ignore some of these old Republicans who are too far out of any current
ideas, just like Romney. Trump is the future.

  8. He couldn’t cut it as a youngster working offshore in Louisiana and disappointed his father in the process. However his career politician status has served him and his family well as evident by their privileged state. Career politicians in all parties will end when term limits begin. When will voters DEMAND equality that will happen when term limits begin?

  9. George Bush was never a true Republican. He was more of a moderate democrat. You never knew what position he was going to take from one issue to the next GOOD RIDDENS GEORGE!!!

  10. I really am disappointed in bush. He is a joke. Way too many Republicans voted for the idiot. Sorry to say I was one of them. I guess his preference is Obama and the dems. May he rot in hell with all of them. He honestly is not an American.
