TV doctor Mehmet Oz is reportedly looking to end his Pennsylvania Senate campaign and return to television, according to sources close to him.

“He is only 61-years-old and isn’t ready to retire if he doesn’t go to Washington DC. No one wants to admit defeat, but he isn’t a stupid man. He knows his campaign is on life support,” a source told Radar Online.

There is talk of Oz becoming a primetime opinion host on Fox News or Newsmax, the source said.

Recent polls have shown businessman David McCormick as the frontrunner in the race with 24% support. Oz was second behind McCormick with 15%, the polls said.

The Republican primary is set for May 17 in the state.
