President Donald Trump left Walter Reed Hospital on Monday evening after his doctors cleared him to return to the White House as he recovers from the coronavirus.
Trump announced his release from the hospital on Twitter, saying “Feeling really good!” and telling people not to be afraid of Covid.
“Don’t let it dominate your life!” Trump said, referencing the many treatments and theraputics that are now available to treat the virus.
Trump said he was feeling “better than” he did “20 years ago” after getting several different treatments for the coronavirus, including antibodies developed by Regeneron and remdesivir along with the steroid dexamethosone.
His doctor Sean Conley said that he has been a “phenomenal patient” and never pressed his team of doctors “to do anything that was beyond what is a safe and reasonable practice.”
