On June 12, Jacob Clynick was perfectly healthy.
On June 13, Jacob Clynick received his second coronavirus shot.
On June 15, Jacob Clynick was dead. He was 13 years old.
The Michigan teen’s family said that he had no underlying medical conditions, but did have symptoms typical of a corona shot, such as fever and general fatigue. But on June 15, a stomachache sent him to bed for a nap that he never woke up from.
The instance has not deterred the CDC from recommending everyone as young as 12 years old get the shot, updating their website no longer ago than June 23.
“CDC continues to recommend COVID-19 vaccination for everyone 12 years of age and older, given the risk of COVID-19 illness and related, possibly severe complications, such as long-term health problems, hospitalization, and even death,” the agency said in response to Jacob’s passing.
