He is coming back after all. Republicans are cheering and the radical far-left can’t believe it. This news just sent shockwaves through Washington, DC.
“Former Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) is returning to Congress after a victory in a new district,” reported Breitbart News. “The Associated Press called his race on Saturday, concluding that he had defeated Democrat Ammar Campa-Najjar.”
Issa defeated Campa-Najjar in California’s 50th congressional district, though he was a long-serving member of Congress in the 49th district. His former district, however, became increasingly ‘blue’ and so he retired.
Now, after a brief hiatus, he will return to Congress after voters chose him over Campa-Najjar, whose “grandfather was a notorious Palestinian terrorist,” according to Breitbart. The Democrat even tried ‘moderating,’ but nothing worked.
Before his break, Issa chaired the powerful House Oversight Committee and was one of the most influential Republicans on Capitol Hill — a reputation he garnered over 18 years of service to his district.
Ironically, he will be attending freshman orientation soon, which is “an orientation that he used to give.” Given Issa’s institutional knowledge and conservative credentials, he will be a major asset for the GOP going forward.
