A high-ranking Republican was just rushed to the hospital. His emergency surgery has stunned the GOP and millions of people nationwide are praying.
“Republican U.S. Senate candidate Jason Lewis’s emergency hernia surgery was successful and he could be released from the hospital within a couple days, his campaign manager says,” reported FOX9 reported Theo Keith.
“Lewis was hospitalized this morning for severe abdominal pain,” Keith continued. Lewis’ campaign manager also said that “nothing will keep Jason Lewis sidelined in his fight to protect Minnesotans from the radical left’s assault on our police officers, economy, and Minnesota way of life.”
Lewis, who previously served in the U.S. House representing Minnesota’s 2nd district, is vying to unseat Senator Tina Smith (D) on November 3. The race has tightened in recent days and Lewis could pull off an upset.
Even the polling between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden is interesting. According to the RealClearPolitics average, Trump currently trails Biden 42 percent to 48 percent.
However, with neither candidate hitting 50 percent, there is optimism that Trump and Lewis could have a late surge and stun the political establishment in Minnesota. In the meantime, please pray for Lewis’ full recovery from surgery.
