Rep. Dan Mueser (R-PA) announced on Saturday that he had tested positive for the coronavirus and would be postponing scheduled events until he recovered.
Mueser said he is following all CDC guidelines and will quarantine at home until he tests negative.
“I am thankful to God that my grown children were not at home and that my wife Shelley has tested negative,” Meuser said of his diagnosis.
Meuser’s coronavirus diagnosis caused him to miss the House vote on the Post Office funding bill, which he said he would have voted against.
Ten members of the House have tested positive for the virus along with two senators.
