The director of the FBI, Christopher Wray, made a serious admission that exposed illegal activity during a House Judiciary Committee hearing.
During the hearing, Wray said the FBI engaged in, “Illegal surveillance with respect to at least several of these FISA applications because there was no probable cause or proper predication.”
Representative John Ratcliffe (R-TX) led the way in interrogating Wray. Wray’s admission is a huge reversal on the part of the FBI.
The FBI has been staunchly denying any wrongdoing in surveilling President Trump’s campaign during the 2016 election.
The hearing has established that Wray and the FBI are not worth trusting. If they aren’t testifying under oath, then there is no way to know if they are telling the truth.
It is likely long past due that President Trump gets someone who is trustworthy to run the FBI. Wray will be a liability to the President sooner or later.
