Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) just stunned his fellow Democrats. He didn’t do it, and it’s going to cost them all dearly. The anti-Trump congressman has been exposed yet again.
According to reports, Nadler, who chairs the House Judiciary Committee, failed to swear-in key witnesses before providing testimony in the impeachment witch-hunt against President Trump.
This means that the counsel for Democrats, Barry Berke, provided testimony without being under oath — a major procedural violation and possibly a way for Democrats to avoid accountability.
Stephen Castor, the Republican counsel, was also not sworn-in, leading many to believe that Democrats did this as a cover so they could pass it off as a simple mistake. But nothing happens in politics by accident.
As a matter of fact, as noted by Joel Pollak of Breitbart News, Berke went on to make “several factual assertions — many of which were dubious at best, and outright false at worst.”
“Nadler’s failure to swear in the witnesses was significant because it allowed the counsels to make claims without fear of perjuring themselves,” continued Pollak. Republicans should demand Nadler’s resignation immediately.
