Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) just pulled the trigger. Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is finished, and he’s not the only one Graham has implicated in this scandal.
“Now I want to know, what did McCabe and Comey know, when did they know that the dossier was unreliable?” said Graham. “I ind it hard to believe that that did not work its way up to Comey and McCabe.”
Appearing on Fox News, Graham was contextually addressing the origins of the Trump-Russia ‘collusion’ probe and the FBI’s abuse of the FISA Court to obtain a warrant to spy on Carter Page.
Page, a former Trump campaign aide, was surveilled by the FBI while still serving on the campaign — and Graham wants to know to what extent the now-debunked Steele dossier was used.
The dossier was compiled by British ex-spy Christopher Steele on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC), and it was riddled with lies.
The FBI then used the dossier to make a case before the FISA Court that surveillance must be conducted on the Trump campaign. Graham is prepared to demand the full truth at an upcoming Senate hearing.
