BREAKING: Gov. Whitmer Gets Bad News – Husband Admits…

In a series of Facebook posts, a Northern Michigan company that offers boating services said that Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s husband Marc Mallory requested help getting his boat on the water before the Memorial Day weekend more than 150 miles from where the Whitmers live.

The company’s owner, Tad Dowker, said that they couldn’t help Mallory because they had a several-week backlog on their boat services, and that Mallory tried to get special privileges by saying he was the governor’s husband.

Whitmer spokeswoman Tiffany Brown called the posts a “rumor being spread online” and referred to “wild disinformation” that has appeared online about the governor.
