No less than 20 governors signed on to a letter to President Joe Biden about the southern border crisis, asking him to do something about the problem that is impacting their states.
“The crisis is too big to ignore and is now spilling over the border states into all of our states,” they wrote.
“At a time when our country is trying to recover from a once-in-a-generation pandemic, the last thing we need is a self-created crisis that exploits families, undermines public safety, and threatens our national security,” they continued. “We urge you to take action to end the humanitarian crisis and secure our southern border immediately.”
They also noted that Biden’s policies have worsened the problem of drug smuggling, which contributes to 100,000 U.S. deaths every year.
It’s time for Biden to give up and put controls back in place so that the problem can be dealt with.
