Milwaukee, Nashville, and Salt Lake City are the last three contenders for the 2024 Republican convention, according to Fox News.
Republican National Committee members visited Salt Lake City in early February when the organization held its annual meeting there and saw Milwaukee last week.
Next week, Nashville will get to make its pitch to RNC members. Pittsburgh had been another possibility but is now out of the running.
“There are three great cities in the running to host the Republican National Convention and each has submitted a strong, competitive bid. Our committee members are in the process of completing site visits to all of them and no decision has been made on which will host,” RNC senior adviser Richard Walters said. “We look forward to continuing the bidding process and delivering an incredible convention.”
The final decision will be made when the RNC holds its summer meeting in early August.
