Google was just caught red-handed — a spying conspiracy has stunned the nation. Millions of Americans can’t believe it happened.
“A recent complaint filed by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) alleges that tech giant Google violated labor laws by spying on workers that were organizing employee protests and then fired two of them,” reported Breitbart News this week.
According to the story, originally by The Verve, the two former Google employers are “Laurence Berland and Kathryn Spiers, who were fired from the company in late 2019 in connection with employee activism.”
In short, both employees were opposed to Google working with a company called ISI Consultants. The group is allegedly known “for its anti-union efforts” and Berland and Spiers sought to inform their colleagues about it.
And, with the NLRB filing a complaint, there seems to be some traction on this case. “They found that I was illegally terminated for trying to help my colleagues,” noted Spiers in a statement.
We will certainly see where this entire ordeal ends up. At the very least, Google has shown that while it tries to put on a “woke” marketing exterior, it is clearly just to appeal to flavor-of-the-week politics.
