Election integrity watchdog True the Vote has sent a letter to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp (R) asking him to ensure the preservation of information related to the 2020 presidential election.
The m0ve was made in response to Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director D. Victor Reynold releasing a letter that “contains information provided confidentially to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.”
Furthermore, it appears that Reynold “mischaracterizes and selectively omits the evidence” that True the Vote presented in an effort to discredit the election auditing movement.
Election law attorney Jim Bopp weighed in on the issue saying, “This preliminary data, first provided to the FBI in March [by True the Vote], has been augmented by True the Vote’s further data analysis, voter drop box surveillance video, chain of custody documents, and other critical corroborating evidence. Notably, Director Reynolds refused to meet with representatives of True the Vote after April of 2021 so that he could supplement the preliminary data he found so “curious.”
It appears that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is stonewalling a legitimate inquiry into the 2020 election.
True the Vote will be working hard to uncover the truth, but this story confirms that many law enforcement agencies have no interest in protecting our elections for the rest of the nation.
