The news just dropped about an election shocker in Georgia. The evidence is out and people are completely stunned — no one expected it.
“Listen, the people of Georgia, particularly the Republicans in Georgia, get it,” said Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA), referring to the Senate runoff election in his state. “We understand the national implications that this race has.”
Rep. Carter continued: “This is arguably the most important race, at least on the federal level, that we’ve ever had in the state of Georgia. We understand that we’ve got to stop socialism. It is not going to come through Georgia.”
As of this writing, voter turnout in Georgia has been massive. Currently, Raphael Warnock (D) is leading Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R) and Jon Ossoff (D) is leading Sen. David Perdue (R) by a slimmer margin.
With an estimated 98% of precincts reporting, the election is going to come down to the proverbial wire — and it is still anyone’s game. But it is looking more likely that the Democrats may actually prevail.
Even if this ends up being the case, Rep. Carter’s comments are still just as relevant. Most voters will not put up with socialism coming to America and they will throw out politicians that drive us in that perilous direction.
