An election ‘reversal’ in Georgia was just announced. President Donald Trump and Republicans are smiling — it could all be over now.
“New polling in the highly contested Georgia Senate runoffs shows both Republican incumbents with an edge,” reported the Washington Examiner. Democrats’ hopes of reversing the Senate may be over.
According to an Emerson College Polling survey, Sens. David Purdue (R) and Kelly Loeffler (R) are leading their Democratic rivals, John Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, by three percentage points (51-percent to 48-percent).
Only one percent of voters are in the “Undecided” column, but they may end up breaking for the Republican incumbents. Regardless, however, it shows that there likely won’t be much movement — most voters are locked in.
The question is whether Perdue and Loeffler will outperform this poll, as other GOP candidates did in the November election (ex. South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham) or if it will essentially hold as we are seeing it now.
This is for everything. If Republicans don’t keep the Senate, all of President Donald Trump’s hard work over the past four years will be erased by Joe Biden and vindictive liberal Democrats. It can’t be allowed to happen.
