Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) is establishing a reputation for winning, and the court system has handed him his latest major victory.
The 1st District Court of Appeal in Tallahassee sided with Governor DeSantis on Friday, allowing DeSantis’s mask mandate ban to go ahead.
Christina Pushaw, a spokeswoman for Gov. DeSantis, announced on Twitter that, “1st District Court of Appeals just granted the State of Florida’s request to reinstate the stay — meaning, the rule requiring ALL Florida school districts to protect parents’ rights to make choices about masking kids is BACK in effect!”
Governor DeSantis has been leading the fight against mask mandates, and his victories are adding steam to the fight nationwide.
The many victories that DeSantis has scored will go a long way to building his platform for a potential 2024 presidential campaign.
Republican voters will only support a proven fighter for President, and DeSantis has so far gone above and beyond to demonstrate his abilities.
