UK news broadcaster Piers Morgan has joined the team of Fox News Channel as well as the New York Post to provide content, commentary and broadcasting on global networks, the network announced on Thursday.
Morgan will start a new television program in 2022 that will air in the U.S., UK, and Australia. He will also write weekly columns and present true crime documentaries for the network.
“Piers is the broadcaster every channel wants but is too afraid to hire,” News Corp chief executive Rupert Murdoch said.
“Piers is an exceptional talent,” Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said. “We look forward to him making an impact and exploring opportunities with him on all of our platforms, especially FOX Nation, where our subscribers will love his new show tackling the subjects everyone is talking about.”
Morgan said he was “thrilled” to be returning to New Corp where he got his start in broadcasting 30 years ago, and he has big plans for his new show and other ventures.
