At first, it seemed as if Geraldo was joking, but as the conversation went on, you realized he was serious.
The conversation on Fox News was in regards to the Southwest Airlines pilots balking at coronavirus mandates. Jesse Waters said, “I think this is just the beginning. You will have firefighters, police officers, teachers. you will lose 10% of the reports on all union jobs, and that is not returning to normal.”
Geraldo did NOT like what Jesse had to say. “I COMPLETELY DISAGREE with Jesse’s tone,” he began. “I believe mandates exist for a reason. The Supreme Court in 1905 decision made very clear unless this court reverses over a century of precedent. The federal government has the constitutional right to impose a mandate.”
He then went on to criticize Representative Chip Roy, a Republican from Texas, for getting pleasure out of seeing Biden’s mandates blow up in his own face.
“The congressman from San Antonio and Austin Chip Roy, this guy is an ideological lunatic. He said when he looked at the crowd of people who could not get on the Southwest flights, ‘This makes me happier than I can articulate. Eat it, Southwest Airlines.’ This is a guy almost getting sexual pleasure from the chaos and disruption.”
“To make this sexual, you are a sick man,” Watters replied. “You are a sick man.”
Rivera closed by issuing a challenge to Congressman Chip. “Congressman Roy, I challenge you, what did you mean when you said ‘eat it’ to Southwest Airlines.”
Only time will tell whether or not Chip answers the challenge.
finally, some common sense talk on Fox news.
Thank you, Geraldo Rivera.pic.twitter.com/5Rn9dzUtBN
