Fox News host Neil Cavuto cut away from a press conference by White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany when she started talking about voter fraud on Monday afternoon.
“There is only one party in America trying to keep observers out of the count room, that party my friends is the Democrat party,” McEnany said. “You don’t take these positions because you want an honest election. You don’t oppose an audit of the vote because you want an accurate count. You don’t oppose our effort at sunlight at transparency because you have nothing to hide. You take these positions because you are a welcoming fraud and you are welcoming illegal voting.”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, I just think we have to be very clear,” Cavuto said. “She’s charging the other side is welcoming fraud and welcoming illegal voting, unless she has more details to back that up, I can’t in good countenance continue showing you this.”
Cavuto said he would cut back to the press conference if McEnany offered evidence or proof of her allegations, but she was offering reasoning rather than facts at the time. It wasn’t about evidence–how do you prove someone’s ill intention?
But Fox New is under new management and they’ve lost their unique conservative viewpoint–which is going to cost them the bulk of their audience and may ultimately lead to their downfall.
