An unexpected felony charge just rocked the White House. President Donald Trump has been accused of something terrible, but people have followed the source — and the Democrat machine has hit a brand-new low.
Appearing on CNN, Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam had the audacity to accuse Trump of being complicit in the foiled plots to kidnap him and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, claiming that “these people take their marking orders” from Trump.
Northam said that “it’s about a president that is emboldening these individuals, these white supremacists.” He also repeated the Democrat lie that Trump called white supremacists “fine individuals” after the Charlottesville incident in 2017.
Of course, in Trump’s actual statement, he explicitly excluded white supremacists and neo-Nazis and even condemned them outright. His “very fine people on both sides” comment was referring to peaceful protesters that were there only.
Specifically, those who simply were against taking the Robert E. Lee monument down but we not connected to any racist element and, yes, even the leftists there that decided to counter-protest but remained non-violent.
To come full circle, however, anyone plotting to kidnap Northam or Whitmer should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But to blame this terrible situation on Trump is beyond the pale — zero evidence exists that he incited it.
