FBI Director Christopher Wray just received some bad news. It is completely over — he is being pulled out of hiding by a high-ranking Republican senator. This is a stunning development.
During an interview with Fox News, Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) explained that he “finally ran out of patience” with the FBI’s stonewalling of documents related to the origins of the Trump-Russia ‘collusion’ probe and decided to act.
In a subpoena issued earlier this week by Johnson, who chairs the Senate Homeland Security Committee, he has demanded “all records related to the Crossfire Hurricane investigation” from Wray. Hopefully, this will produce results.
Since the beginning of the investigation to discover how the ‘collusion’ probe was started and carried out, the FBI has allegedly been the problem. “The hang-up is with the FBI,” said Johnson, who said that “we haven’t really gotten squat.”
One has to wonder who Wray could be trying to protect. Is it former FBI Director James Comey? After all, he could be sent a subpoena next if Johnson’s committee doesn’t get cooperation from Wray and other FBI leadership.
In the meantime, Americans will be anticipating information in the coming days as a result of Johnson’s decision to subpoena Wray. Everyone deserves to know the truth about how the Deep State was used in an attempt to destroy Trump.
