The Drug Enforcement Administration has sent a memo to law enforcement around the nation warning of a massive wave of fentanyl-related “mass overdose events” that could endanger millions of Americans.
The DEA specifically warned law enforcement at all levels of government that there are enough drugs pouring into the United States “to kill every American.”
DEA administrator Anne Milgram warned that “Fentanyl is killing Americans at an unprecedented rate. Drug traffickers are driving addiction, and increasing their profits, by mixing Fentanyl with other illicit drugs.”
Recreational drug use has been on a steady rise which further exacerbates the risk of drug traffickers mixing Fentanyl in with more mundane substances like marijuana.
A big factor in the massive influx of drugs into the United States is the open southern border. Thanks to President Biden, both waves of immigrants and illegal substances are pouring into the nation.
President Biden must close the border and dedicate resources to combatting drug trafficking before this growing epidemic of drug overdoses gets out of control.
