The Florida mansion of the late accused child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein is being bought by a real estate developer who plans to demolish it and build a new house on the property.
Todd Michael Glaser said the house and property are under contract, but did not disclose the price he paid. Another source said it was around $18 million.
The deal is scheduled to be finalized in December. Glaser said he wants to build a 14,000-square-foot Art Moderne home to replace Epstein’s home, which was also 14,000 square feet.
The house, which Epstein bought in 1990 for $2.5 million, was said to be a major location for his sex trafficking activities.
“Palm Beach is going to be very happy that it’s gone,” he said.
