Representative and Georgia Democratic Party Chairwoman Nikema Williams went on Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “All In” and claimed that the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election was stolen.
Williams’s comments came after the arrest of Georgia State Representative Park Cannon (D) on Thursday at the state Capitol.
William’s justified Cannon’s behavior saying, “I mean, it was the aftermath of the election being stolen from Stacey Abrams, that I was escorted out of the Capitol as a sitting state senator while my constituents were there protesting in the rotunda, their civic right to do.”
Worth noting that an unruly protest and occupation of the state Capitol is a-ok when Democrats do it but not when Trump supporters do it.
Furthermore, this is another example of Democrats boldly claiming that Republicans stole an election with no evidence. When Trump claimed that there was voter fraud, Democrats called him an enemy of the nation for questioning the election.
William’s comments expose the hypocrisy of the Democrat party on multiple levels. It is time for Republicans to call them out on their blatant hypocrisy.
