Google has been actively supressing Breitbart News articles in the months before the election, Real Clear Politics confirmed.
Data showed that Breitbart’s search traffic was down 99% in July from the same period in 2016. The same thing has also happened to a number of other conservative sites.
When exact Breitbart headlines are searched in Google, they will show up underneath sites that plagiarize Breitbart content.
“Breitbart News is, according to Amazon-owned Alexa.com, one of the top five news publishers in the United States, yet if you search — verbatim — Breitbart headlines in Google, you won’t necessarily get any Breitbart results at all,” Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow said.
Even an exclusive interview with President Donald Trump did not show up anywhere in Google search results when the exact headline was searched, showing extreme levels of suppression.
