A new poll has found that a majority of Democrats still support voter ID laws, despite the resources that the Democrat Party has put into demonizing those election integrity measures.
A Rasmussen poll released on Friday found that a stunning 63% of Democrats “believe that requiring photo ID to vote is a reasonable measure to protect the integrity of elections.”
This massive reversal by Democrat voters will serve as a nasty surprise to Democrat politicians hoping to stop Republican efforts to ensure election integrity.
This latest poll adds to the mountain of evidence that Americans aren’t buying what Democrats are selling when it comes to voter ID laws.
Americans, both Democrats and Republicans, believe in securing our elections and many understand that requiring ID is a straightforward way to improve our election security without cutting off access to our voting rights.
It will be interesting to see what impact Democrats’ fearmongering over voter ID laws will have in next year’s midterm elections. Chances are many Americans will side with Republicans who are committed to securing our elections.
