The Arizona attorney general told Maricopa County that it is investigating the county for failure to comply with subpoenas from the state Senate.
Mark Brnovich sent a letter to Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on Friday to response to a legislative request from Arizona State Senate Majority Whip Sonny Borrelli (R), as required by state law.

The county has until August 20 to respond to the letter.
