Four Democrats were arrested in Texas Thursday for an alleged ballot harvesting scheme in the 2018 primary, and one of them was the candidate himself.
Shannon Brown was a commissioner in Gregg County who won that primary by just five votes after fraudulently harvesting hundreds of ballots in the race by claiming the voters were disabled when they were not. The voters in question did not give permission for ballots to be submitted on their behalf.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said, “It is an unfortunate reality that elections can be stolen outright by mail ballot fraud . . . Mail ballots are vulnerable to diversion, coercion, and influence by organized vote harvesting schemes.”
Fast-forward to the 2020 presidential race, and there has already been a case of mail-in vote fraud in Luzerne County, where nine mail-in ballots were thrown in the trash. Seven of them were cast for President Donald Trump, and the other two are sealed and it is not known for whom they were cast.
How many more times across the country will this story repeat itself before and after Election Day, and will it be enough to steal the election for Joe Biden?
