Georgia Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker warned that the future of the U.S. Senate hangs on the race between him and Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA).
Walker said that “There’s a lot on the line now. Whoever could take over this Senate race here in Georgia between — and I know it’s’ going to be myself — against Sen. Warnock can get control of the Senate.”
Walker is looking to be the undisputed frontrunner in the GOP primary and is in a strong position to take back a key seat in the Senate that Republicans lost in 2020.
Walker continued saying, “So we want to take that Senate back and get people back to work and kids back in school where people aren’t trying to indoctrinate kids and do different things like that.”
The race for Georgia’s Senate seat could very well be determined by the cultural politics that Democrats have chosen to force on Americans. Poll after poll has found that issues like Critical Race Theory and the economy have pushed Americans to the right.
Herschel Walker may very well be the candidate that decides who will control the Senate after the 2022 midterm elections. Democrats have everything to lose and if recent political trends are to be believed, they are all but assured to lose the power they won in 2020.
