During the 2020 campaign, Donald Trump warned the American people that Joe Biden would move the nation to a more friendly posture with the communist regime of China.
Less than a month into Biden’s time in the Oval Office, and Trump is already being proven right.
“Self-anointed guardians of human freedom China, Russia, Cuba, Eritrea, and Venezuela may soon have the company of the U.S. at the U.N. Human Rights Council (UNHRC) if the Biden administration’s rush to rejoin the globalist body is a success,” reports Simon Kent of Breitbart News.
Kent called it a “direct rebuff to former President Donald Trump who withdrew the U.S. from the Geneva-based organization in 2018 citing its anti-Israel program and lack of a reform agenda.”
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo previously called the UNHRC a “haven for dictators and the democracies that indulge them.”

Trump worked to remove the U.S. from as many entanglements with China but then correctly predicted Biden would reverse the actions. “Trump’s withdrawal from the UNHRC was one of a number of U.S. retrenchments from international bodies during his four years in office due to their lack of accountability,” said Kent.
