Donald Trump responded to the rumors that he directed Roger Stone to contact Wikileaks. Trump denied that he ever asked Stone about Wikileaks, or that he directed anyone in his campaign to do so either.
Roger Stone was indicted on multiple charges related to lying to Congress about his contact with the Trump campaign about “potential future releases” of Clinton emails.
Stone has categorically denied the charges in the indictment, maintaining his innocence.
In an Oval Office interview, Trump confirmed that he never spoke to anyone during his 2016 campaign about Wikileaks. Roger Stone corroborated the statement, saying that he never discussed Wikileaks with Trump either.
