Former President Donald Trump is reportedly mulling over a plan to launch his own social media platform following his bans from traditional social media platforms.
Jason Miller, a senior adviser to Trump, said on Saturday that Trump is seriously considering the idea and could execute his plan sooner rather than later.
Miller said during an interview on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125, “I would expect that we will see the president reemerge on social media.”
Trump’s expulsion from traditional social media platforms following his defeat in the election isn’t sitting well with him. Trump has a role to play in politics in the coming years, and he will need a platform with which to communicate with his base.
Miller continued saying, “Whether that’s joining an existing platform or creating his new platform, there are a number of different options and a number of different meetings that they’ve been having on that front.”
Trump certainly has the resources to launch a platform with its own infrastructure that would set conservatives free of Twitter and Facebook. With all this newfound time, Trump could do great things.
