House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler announced that he believes that Donald Trump Jr. should be indicted based on the Mueller report.
Fox News reports that Nadler “questioned why Mueller did not level charges against the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., for taking a meeting with Russian operatives in Trump Tower.”
Trump Jr was allegedly meeting with the Russian operatives in order to collect opposition research against Hillary Clinton.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller has not recommended any further indictments since submitting the report to the DOJ.
Nadler told NBC’s “Meet The Press” that Mueller should have charged Trump Jr based on the premise that they “went to the meeting.” He declared that the meeting proves that there was a conspiracy.
Despite the Mueller report clearing President Trump’s name of the charges, Jerry Nadler refuses to relent in his crusade against the Trump family.
