President Donald Trump will headline a rally in Georgia on the eve of the Senate runoff elections that will determine which party runs the Senate.
“On behalf of two GREAT Senators, @sendavidperdue & @KLoeffler, I will be going to Georgia on Monday night, January 4th., to have a big and wonderful RALLY. So important for our Country that they win!” Trump tweeted.
The exact location of the rally wasn’t given, but Trump routinely drew crowds of tens of thousands on just a few days’ notice in the months before the election.
At an earlier rally in Valdosta, Trump described the race as the determining factor for “whether your children will grow up in a socialist country or free country.”
If Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock win the two runoffs, Democrats will have control over both houses of Congress and the presidency starting on January 20.
