According to a new Harvard Harris poll, President Joe Biden now has lower approval ratings on key issues than former President Donald Trump did when he left office–after the January 6 Capitol Breach for which he was generally blamed.
On the economy, Trump’s approval was 56% and Biden’s is now 41%. The numbers were similar for stimulating the economy, with 58% for Trump and 45% for Biden.
On fighting terrorism, immigration and foreign affairs, Trump was over 50% when he left office, and Biden is now at 40% or lower.
Trump also edged Biden on administering the government, 49% to 44%. The only issue on which Biden was higher than Trump was “reacting to the coronavirus,” for which Biden had 50% and Trump 47%.
It just doesn’t look good for Biden in any way shape or form at this point. He will be hard pressed to get re-elected with numbers like these.
