Former President Donald Trump scored one point higher than President Joe Biden in a new Rassmussen poll about favorability.
52% of voters gave Trump an at least somewhat favorable rating while Biden got 51% in the poll. Biden also had a higher unfavorable rating than Trump, 48% to 46%.
Both recent presidents were eclipsed by Former President Barack Obama with 55% popularity even after four-plus years out of office. Obama also had only a 26% very unfavorable rating.
“Comparing voter opinions of Biden and his two predecessors across demographic categories, the current president suffers from more intense disapproval by Republicans, and doesn’t have the kind of strong support from black voters that benefitted Obama,” the poll report read.
With Biden’s constant undoing of Trump’s policies and continual gaffes, it’s hard to believe that more than half of voters in the poll even approved of him, frankly.
