While the Democrats and some in the Republican Party are scrambling to distance themselves from the legacy of Donald Trump, Lindsey Graham is standing up to speak a very different message.
“The Trump movement is alive and well,” said Senator Graham during a recent interview. “All I can say is the most potent force in the Republican Party is President Trump. We need Trump-plus.”
Graham was speaking in context of Mitch McConnell’s condemnation of Trump, something Graham warned would end up being costly to McConnell and to Republicans in 2022.
However, Graham believes Donald isn’t the only Trump with a future in the GOP. He said that Lara Trump, the former president’s daughter-in-law who is married to Eric Trump, “represents the future of the Republican Party.”
