Former President Donald Trump confirmed that he would be “very involved” in next year’s midterm elections.
Trump told Fox News that he will “stay busy for good people” as he works to get Republicans in control of both the House and the Senate.
Trump is laying the groundwork for a return to the Oval office, and part of that will be securing a friendly Congress. Helping push Democrats out of power will also go a long way in convincing Americans to vote for him.
Trump went on to say, “I’ll not only be supportive, I’ll be very non-supportive of some people. So, you’ll see that there, and you’ll see that in other states too. I’ll stay busy for good people. Not for bad people.”
The Liz Cheney’s and Mitt Romney’s of the Republican Party better look out because Trump will be coming for them.
Defeating the Democrat Party will require both Republican victories but also cleaning up Republican messes. Dishonest Republicans already sabotaged Trump’s first term; he certainly won’t want that happening again.
