President Donald Trump dropped a bomb on the jubilant Biden campaign by pointing out that Joe Biden has not been certified as the winner of the election yet and will not be until all legal investigations have concluded.
In a statement issued by the President on Saturday, Trump said, “We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: they don’t want the truth to be exposed. [Biden] has not been certified as the winner of any states.”
While Democrats rush to claim victory and declare Joe Biden the 46th President of the United States, President Trump is busy preparing for a legal battle that will rival the Florida debacle from the 2000 election.
It is worth noting that Democrat Al Gore had been declared president by the media and by the apparent counts but that didn’t matter when the courts got involved.
President Trump continued saying, “The American People are entitled to an honest election: that means counting all legal ballots, and not counting any illegal ballots. This is the only way to ensure the public has full confidence in our election.”
Until all allegations of voter and election fraud are dealt with, the race isn’t over and Democrats would be wise to not celebrate early.
