President Donald Trump just delivered a vote count announcement. The election in Georgia is still being disputed and Americans are stunned.
According to audio obtained by the anti-Trump Washington Post, Trump said to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, “I just want to find 11,780 votes which is one more than we have because we won the state.”
“We have won this election in Georgia based on all of this and there’s nothing wrong with saying that Brad,” Trump reportedly continued, asking the Georgia secretary of state to respond.
Raffensperger, however, disputed Trump’s account that he won the state. Regardless of one’s viewpoint, it is a fascinating bit of audio — and people are already lining up to support Trump’s approach or denounce it.
“Taken by itself, Trump’s sentence about ‘finding votes’ is incriminating,” said author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza. However, he proposed that there is more to it than the media’s one-sided narrative.
“But since we have the full context, it’s obvious to any reasonable listener that Trump isn’t calling for election fraud—he’s calling for the public exposure of election fraud by the other side,” concluded D’Souza.
