Former President Trump confirmed that he and the Republican Party have a comprehensive plan for victory in the coming years.
Trump met with Republican leaders in Bedminster, New Jersey, on Thursday to plan how they would retake the House and Senate in the 2022 midterm elections.
Republican Study Committee chairman Representative Jim Banks (R-ID) explained the meeting saying, “We talked for most of the time about the work that the Republican Study Committee is doing to define the agenda for the future course of the Republican Party, which is fighting for the Trump agenda.”
Republican leaders have come to the conclusion that Trump’s “America First” agenda is the key to victory in 2022. Trump’s support base is incredibly powerful and could carry Republicans to power.
Representative Banks continued saying, “We believe we take back the majority by focusing on the Trump agenda, and President Trump plays a big role in that. He’s obviously planning to go out and hit the road and campaign for candidates who share our vision, and we were excited to talk to him about that.”
Democrats have done everything they can to steer the Republican Party away from Trump, and they failed. Now they have to deal with a Republican Party that could sweep them out of power and cost Biden the last two years of his term.
