Former President Donald Trump confirmed rumors that he plans to introduce a streaming platform meant to rival Netflix and other streaming giants.
The Trump Media and Technology Group announced that plans were in the works to offer “non-woke” media to compete with Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu.
A posting from the company explained that the new platform “will be the home for a wide variety of non-scripted, scripted, and original content.”
The new streaming service will run alongside Truth Social, Trump’s social media alternative to Twitter. Trump’s company has recovered from Truth Social’s rough start, and apparently, Trump sees a gap in the market for streaming services.
The move into streaming is big for conservatives who have mostly been cut out of the primarily liberal streaming industry.
Trump’s streaming service likely is a ways out from going live, but Americans are definitely going to want to keep their eyes open as Trump continues to make game-changing moves.
