Rumors that former President Donald Trump will run in the 2024 presidential election were effectively confirmed by Trump himself during his speech at CPAC on Saturday.
Much to the excitement of Trump’s loyal followers, the former President proclaimed that “We’re going to be doing it again,” putting all speculation of him running in 2024 to rest.
Trump told the raucous crowd of supporters that “And this is some crowd. We broke the record again, but they’re going to find out the hard way starting on November 8, and then again even more so on November 2024. They will find out like never before we did it twice. And we’ll do it again. We’re going to be doing it again. A third time.”
Trump seems extremely confident that Republicans will take power in both the House and the Senate in November’s midterm elections.
Once Democrats have been stripped of power in the legislative branch, Trump will have the necessary time and energy to begin his quest for ascendence back to the White House.
The 2022 midterm elections are extremely important, and the stakes offer a great explanation as to why Trump hasn’t confirmed his presidential aspirations in plain English. For now, Trump’s supporters can rest easy knowing that Trump will be back in 2024 for a historic campaign of vengeance.
